ENPS appoints distributor for Southern Africa
Inala Broadcast has been appointed as an authorised distributor for ENPS, AP’s News Production System, across the whole of Southern Africa. Based in Johannesburg, Inala Broadcast will represent ENPS in 13 countries - South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Angola, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Swaziland, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles and Nigeria.
ENPS has a long-standing relationship with Inala Broadcast who provides integrated solutions to the broadcast and professional television and video markets. These include on-air and live events, news broadcasting, audio/video routing and networking, media management, virtual studios and digital effects solutions.
Inala has a very strong track record in representing some of ENPS’ key broadcast partners in South Africa, including Omneon, Grass Valley and Miranda, and has sold into some of the biggest broadcasters in the region, including the state broadcaster, South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) and recently have been awarded the turnkey system integration project for CNBC Africa who will be using ENPS.
The Associated Press developed ENPS in 1997 for the BBC’s global broadcasting operation. Ten years on, ENPS is used by more than 50,000 people in more than 640 newsrooms in 53 countries
