Indonesia’s largest media organization, Kompas Gramedia, deploys AP ENPS for its new station, Kompas TV

LONDON – Indonesia’s largest media organization, Kompas Gramedia , has deployed The Associated Press news production system ENPS for its new television station, Kompas TV. The company also becomes the first in Southeast Asia to adopt the ENPS Mobile Suite, which gives journalists remote access to the newsroom from anywhere in the world via smartphones, tablet PCs and the Web.

Kompas TV News Operations and Support Manager Delvi Sinambela explained why ENPS was chosen: “ENPS offers features that have been specifically conceived for the fast-paced operations of an integrated news provider. ENPS extends its feature-set to meet the growing needs of users. We look forward to future innovations that will bring flexibility and further options for news operations around the globe.”

Kompas TV uses an Etere playout system. Complex editing is entrusted to Final Cut Pro, with graphics run on Orad and prompters on Autocue. The authorised distributor for ENPS in Indonesia is Techtel S.E. Asia Pty Ltd.
