iNews chooses ENPS

Associated Press' ENPS has secured their first deal in Hyderabad with Integrated Broadcasting Company Limited’s brand new TV channel, iNews TV. ENPS is part of a bespoke solution tailored specifically to the client’s needs.

The iNews TV full set up uses the Essential News Production System, Omnibus automation, Omneon servers for ingest, production and playout, Final Cut Pro for craft editing, Omneon ProBrowse for low-res editing and Beehive WASP 3D for full frame and news graphics. With the system already installed, the channel now has around 80 trained users, and will be broadcasting in the Telugu language once the station has gone live.

Shaf Broadcast Pvt. Ltd., the AP’s authorised distributor for ENPS in India, have handled the ENPS installation and training.

This contract is the first for ENPS in the Andhra Pradesh region, building on the existing Indian client base with customers in Delhi, Mumbai and Kerala.
