Viz Content Pilot is used by broadcasters worldwide, from major TV networks to local TV stations. Viz Content Pilot offers the optimal environment to create, manage, and deliver high volumes of top-quality graphical content. It supports live and taped news, sports, election, and other broadcast productions.

By using a variety of template forms, editorial staff can enter new data, images or videos in pre-defined graphic animations and preview the end result immediately. Viz Content Pilot integrates naturally into the editorial workflow: templates can be accessed directly from the ENPS interface.

The Newsroom Connect Component is a small, but advanced, graphics editing tool. It enables journalists to add images, text, videos, and maps, and to select the graphics Concept and Variant. It also supports a real-time preview and snapshots. For time-critical situations, the Quick CG command line tool allows the user to create graphics with text on the fly.

Supported ENPS Workflow

Running Order Control

This device allows ENPS to dynamically build and control a playlist within the media server. Changes to the Running Order in ENPS result in immediate changes to the sequence of media objects queued for playout by the media server.

Item Status

This vendor sends real-time status information during playback and other functions which is displayed through ENPS writers and producers in real-time. This includes the use of a minimum set of standard status messages which enable color coding and the automated movement of the ENPS timing bar.

Buddy Fail-Over

This product supports automatic redundant operation with both Primary and Buddy ENPS servers.

Advanced ActiveX

The vendor builds on the basic ActiveX functionality to provide drag and drop of media pointers between the ActiveX control and ENPS documents and the ability to run the plug-in in a detached window.

MOS Redirection

This product works with ENPS to transfer media between machines and locations using instruction and metadata from ENPS. When stories containing media are moved from one ENPS location in ENPS to another this vendor offers the option to automatically transfer the media contained in the stories without further user interaction. This can be used to automatically transfer media between servers and NLE's within a single newsroom, or between multiple newsrooms and production servers in different cities.

Vizrt ActiveX Plug-in

This vendor provides an ActiveX plug-in for ENPS which allows users to create graphics templates from the ENPS user interface.
