AP Upgrade to ENPS v7
The Associated Press' major video production centers have upgraded to AP ENPS version 7.
How many media companies do you know that use their own news production system every day? AP backs up its ownership of AP ENPS by using it in all aspects of video and radio news production. The world’s largest news agency is one of AP ENPS' largest customers.
In mid-August 2015, AP's London video production center joined the video team in Washington, DC on AP ENPS version 7. The upgrade enhances sharing content seamlessly between locations. The AP ENPS upgrade is part of an overall system upgrade of the video transcoding system, servers and computers. All of the upgrades have resulted in a new workflow that delivers video to AP customers up to 30 minutes faster.
