We just released a new version of 8.0 today and it’s got a lot – and I do mean a lot – of stuff in it.
First and most importantly, there are a ton of fixes in 22.214.171.124. It should make things more stable and reliable, so that’s clearly important. Also, it should make things run a bit smoother and faster, which is always a bonus.
There are also a ton of new features in this version, including:
- A new Personal Setting option to have all List Windows pinned, floating or detached
- A new way to add and remove columns from Rundowns
- New ways to reply to Messages
- The ability to dock more things to the NavBar for easier access
- …and more!
Check out our Release Note for even more details about this new version and – as always – don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions!
One of the things that we showed off at NAB this year was Mobile Notifications – now whenever anyone sends you a Message in ENPS, you’ll get a notification on ENPS Mobile, even if you’re in a different application!

Phew! It has been a long few weeks – we had a great time at NAB. We had to spend all of last week following up on some of the great conversations we had while we were there and what we missed while we were gone.
Now that we’re back and have some bandwidth, we want to take some time to show you guys what we were talking about while were in Las Vegas so that those of you were weren’t there can get just as excited as those we got to see in person! Continue reading
We’re so excited that it’s almost time for NAB! We’ve been working really hard on a lot of great things to show during the convention and we just know you’re gonna love it!
We don’t want to give too much away just yet, but needless to say, what we have in store should help make it that much easier for you to tell the stories you want to tell and that your audiences need to know.
If you can, come visit us at SL7606 (South Lower Hall) and see what we have in store. If you can’t be here, follow us on Twitter (@AP_ENPS) for even more info as the show goes on!
For now, here’s our team for this year and we’re clearly really excited to get things going! Here’s to a great NAB 2016!
Last week, we released not one but TWO versions of ENPS – it’s like Christmas!
…OK, maybe not that exciting, but still – anytime you can update, it’s an exciting day! Click through for more details! Continue reading
Just a heads up – we’ve seen some issues in our testing with Microsoft .NET 4.6. We’re going to be addressing that as best we can as issues come to our attention, but it might be a good idea to hold off on installing that particular version on your client workstations until we’ve been able to finish more testing.
Our minimum requirement remains .NET 4.5.1, even though Microsoft is no longer supporting it. We’ll likely be updating that in the near future.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Helpdesk.
Are you going to NAB this year? If so, we’d love to see you there!
We’re going to be showing a lot of cool stuff this year, mostly focused on bringing you new tools that you can use to manage and even improve your workflow while using ENPS. We’re not quite ready to talk specifics just yet, but if you haven’t had a chance to see ENPS 8 in action yet, you’ll see it on our stand for sure!
Check out the rest of this post for more information on how to get complimentary registration and for where our stand is located this year!
After a lot of hard work and tons of testing, we’ve finally released 8.0!
As we talked about in our previous post, you may not notice too much that’s different in 8.0 than what you’re used to – we updated the colors a bit, mostly – but the biggest changes are on your servers, behind the scenes. We’ve improved the code that our servers run on, which should make it easier to add even more improvements and features to ENPS, which should make your job even easier!
That being said, you should always check with your MOS vendors before upgrading to be sure that they won’t have any problems with this new version. But once you do, you should absolutely upgrade and join us in 8.0 Land.
Aside from the bug fixes and features we’ve added, we also reworked our Release Note so that it’s easier to understand and more of you can see the great things we’re working hard to add to ENPS. Check it out after the jump…
You might’ve noticed that we’re putting out a lot more new versions than we used to. Last year, we went to a more Agile-based development method, which means we bite off small chunks of work and release it very quickly for your use and feedback. This means we can get features and fixes to you much more quickly than before – in as little as a few weeks’ time.
You don’t have to take them all. A new release includes all of the features of the previous ones and our Release Notes highlight for you what’s most important in each release. But if you really need something fast, we can get it to you.
We try to keep all of the big changes out of the smaller releases we put out, so you should feel comfortable upgrading to whatever release you might want!
